MEMEENO Partners with Miracle Babies to Help NICU Families

We're so excited to announce that MEMEENO has partnered with Miracle Babies, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) families in need. MEMEENO will contribute to the Miracle Babies Care Program, which distributes care bags on a monthly basis to NICU families in Southern California. MEMEENO will donate belly bands for care bags to be distributed to select hospitals in Orange County.

“As a NICU mama of a miracle baby, I know how overwhelming it can be to care for a premature or sick infant,” says Alie, the company’s founder. “My hope is that with our partnership with Miracle Babies, our belly bands will contribute to their great work of helping NICU families transition from hospital to home.”

The MEMEENO belly band was designed by Alie Al-Jadda, a mother of preemie, (born at 32 weeks) who was a NICU baby for one month. Upon returning home, baby suffered severe bouts of colic. Mama tried everything to calm her baby but nothing worked except for a belly band with ties that was given to her by a friend.

Miracle Babies provides financial and emotional support to families with critically ill babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).  The founding purpose is to support these NICU families by providing needs-based financial assistance to low-income families through a Family Assistance Program.
